Shipping & Export Logistics Specialist with Sales Support (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Organizing and monitoring national and international shipments
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day operations
- Managing customer relations and handling commercial and logistics-related inquiries
- Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, customers, and internal departments
- Obtaining and evaluating transport quotes
- Preparing all shipping and export documentation—including for shipments to non-EU countries
- Handling shipment processing, preparing invoices, and resolving logistics and customs-related issues
What you bring to the table:
- Commercial training/apprenticeship, ideally in freight forwarding, logistics, foreign trade, or the industrial sector
- Several years of experience in shipping, export, or international logistics
- Solid knowledge of export processing and international shipping procedures
- Good English skills and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- An independent, structured approach to work, combined with organizational talent, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility

turboMech GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized company specializing in the manufacture and processing of forged products—such as large-diameter bearings and gear rings (up to 25 meters in diameter)—as well as wear parts for the automotive, chemical, and recycling industries, shipyards, energy companies, and the machinery and mining sectors worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- Operating CNC-controlled turning and milling machines
- Independent programming using Siemens or Heidenhain control systems
- Preparing and setting up components and machines
- Clamping and machining components according to technical drawings
- Quality inspection and documentation of component-specific dimensions and deviations
What you should bring:
- Completed vocational training as a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of machining technology and the use of measuring instruments
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Willingness to work shifts
- Reliable and independent working style
- Commitment to quality and ability to work in a team
